Local Brewery Now 6th Largest in U.S.

Firestone Walking Brewing Company is now the sixth-largest craft brewery in the United States. That’s after the Paso Robles-based brewery merges with Kansas City-based Boulevard Brewing company, and Cooperstown, New York-based Brewery Ommegang.
Before the merger, Firestone ranked 13th largest craft brewery in the US. They’re now #6.

Costa Mesa Man Arrested for Burglary in SLO

A Costa Mesa man arrested for residential burglary in San Luis Obispo.  29-year-old Joseph Hopkins was was spotted by investigators on a surveillance video while trying to pawn jewelry stolen during a burglary in the 800 block off Mill Street in San Luis.  Hopkins was arrested late last week in Southern California.
