Did you see the Atlas V rocket lift off from Vandenberg Air Force Base yesterday? The rocked launch occurred at 9:49 yesterday morning. The 190 foot United Launch Alliance Booster blasted off from Space Launch Complex-3 on South Base. The booster carried a top-secret spacecraft for the National Reconnaissance Office into space.

The City of Atascadero started the discussion, now San Luis Obispo County planners want your input on what rules to impose on commercial marijuana activities. Tiger

The bronze tiger returns to the Atascadero Zoo at 10:00 this morning. The tiger was removed for a facelift. Plans to return him two weeks ago were postponed because of the rain. The schedule calls for the 1700-pound bronze tiger to go back into the flamenco area at the front of the zoo this morning.
