Late last night, KPRL received a report that the first mayor of Atascadero, Bob Wilkins Jr., passed away on Sunday, February 25th. The report says his children were at his side. He was an active community member in numerous organizations, sporting events, and was one of the main proponents of Atascadero’s incorporation in 1979.
