The Oakland A’s Bruce Tyrone Maxwell arrested after he points a handgun at the head of a woman who delivered food to his home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Maxwell is the only major league baseball player to take a knee during the national anthem. When police arrived, they said Maxwell yelled and made anti-police statements. He was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.
Maxwell previously accused a waiter in his Alabama hometown of refusing him service because of his kneeling. The waiter and restaurant manager denied it.
Maxwell is a catcher for the Oakland A’s.
