Atascadero City Council

The Atascadero City Council meets tomorrow night at the Rotunda.

The council is expected to formally appoint Captain Casey Bryson the new Fire Chief of Atascadero. They will also discuss 2016 California Building Code updates.

The bronze tiger statue is back at the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero. The statue was removed in November and received a face lift at Genesis Bronze in Paso Robles. Atascadero counterfeiter

Atascadero police are looking for a man passing fake $100 bills.
Police have recovered surveillance video from several businesses. They released video of the man wearing a bright, multicolored hoodie.
You can see the man’s photo on the Atascadero Police website.
Anyone who receives the counterfeit bills is encouraged to contact the Atascadero police.
