San Luis Obispo boys soccer team will not be advancing to the play offs. The team that was ranked as high as #1 in the state forced to forfeit ten victories because four players played Sunday nights in an adult league. That’s against CIF regulations.
The Tigers beat St. Joe’s in their final game. The Paso Robles coach provided pictures of the four San Luis boys playing in an adult league. He shared those with the Arroyo Grande coach. Those photos caused San Luis to forfeit ten victories.
The San Luis coach asked the other coaches to allow the Tigers to play in the play offs. The other coaches in the Pac 8 voted against it.
The Tigers end the season with a record of 19-2, 11-2 in the Pac 8. That was before the mass forfeit. They were ranked #2 in the CIF division 2.
The Paso Robles girls basketball team lead Mission Prep most of the game, then could not score for the last two minutes. The Royals finished the game with a 10-point run to in 43-38.
Paso Robles boys soccer team beat Mission Prep 6-0
The girls shut-out the Royals 5-0.
Atascadero girls soccer beat Arroyo Grande 1-0
Arroyo Grande boys beat Atascadero 3-1.
