The California Mid-State Fair is looking for a few good young women. Applications are now being accepted for the Miss California Mid-State Fair scholarship pageant. The Sargent fire north east of Bradley is now 100% contained. The fire burned 1,100 acres in southern Monterey county. It was in a remote area northeast of Bradley near the intersection of Sargeant Canyon road and Wunpost road. The fire began Sunday. The cause is under investigation.
Investigators with sheriff’s office are looking for a man they suspect of molesting multiple children. They began investigating David Paul Wilson, 38, in February after receiving a report that he had sexually assaulted a juvenile. That investigation led to other victims. A Paso Robles man is convicted of more than 50 counts of sexually abusing children. 49-year-old Jason Robert Porter was convicted yesterday in San Luis Obispo superior court.
