The Shandon BBQ is this weekend in Shandon. Ron Tallman tells KPRL that the BBQ in Shandon is coming up Sunday from 11-3 at the WC Clark park. The proceeds pay for kids to swim for free this summer.

Yesterday afternoon at Farm Supply in Paso Robles, Coast Union high school senior Elizabeth Reed, is named the winner of the Jim Brabeck Youth Legacy College Scholarship. Elizabeth plans to attend Chico state in the fall. She ultimately wants to be a large animal veterinarian.
