Yesterday evening, at around 9 pm, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the area near Lamon, just south of Bakersfield and north of the Grapevine.
The earthquake may have been felt throughout central California, including parts of San Luis Obispo county.
Shortly after the quake, the California governor’s office of emergency services said on X that they are “actively monitoring impacts” from the earthquake.
