Another fire in the Salinas river bed.
A warming fire early Friday morning spread to surrounding brush. Paso Robles battalion chief Jay Enns talked with KPRL near the campsite where the fire started Friday morning.
He says the fire started in a homeless encampment in the riverbed Friday morning at 7:30.
Paso Robles fire department and Cal Fire quickly responded and contained the fire. Two fire engines, one squad and battalion chief Jay Enns from Paso Robles responded to that fire. The cause is under investigation, but it started in the homeless campsite in the Salinas riverbed.
