High school sports picking up in the north county.
Friday, the Paso Robles Bearcat boys and girls swim teams competed against the Greyhounds at Atascadero high school. No spectators were allowed, but the swimmers enjoyed the competition. They did not wear masks when they swam, which makes sense.
Football practice underway at many high schools. Templeton coach Don Crow credits local coaches for making possible the delayed football season. For Templeton, the season includes five games with local teams. Don Crow says he may be able to add another game.
Many of the coaches are trying to find additional games. But the players are already practicing for a season that begins March 19th.
It ends April 30th.
