A major compromise discovered in Facebook.
A Ukrainian security researcher finds a database with the information of more than 267 million Facebook users on the open internet.
Almost all the information was based in the United States, but there is information from 106 countries including phone numbers, Facebook Id’s, full names, locations birth dates and email addresses.
The information appears to be several years old, but it provides an example of the information gathered by social media sites.
The information was found on a website for hackers.
