The director of California State Parks visits Hearst castle. Parks director Armando Quintero and his staff to visit the state park today near San Simeon. It’s the first visit for a state parks director in 4-7 years.
His intent is unknown, but many believe it relates to the parks extended closure and the recent report about issues with the road from the visitors center to the hilltop.
