Two fires yesterday in Paso Robles.
Yesterday afternoon, a fire broke out in the Salinas riverbed near Sulphur Springs road, just north of the 46 overpass.
When fire fighters arrived the found a 50 x 50 foot spot fire burning grass, brush and trash from an encampment in the riverbed. The fire was extinguished within 15 minutes.
There was also a fire last night on Creston road near Cripple Creek road. Cal Fire responded quickly.
We have not yet received a report from Cal Fire, but one of the residents reached out to KPRL news and says fire crews on the ground were amazing.
We’ll have more on that fire yesterday in the vicinity of Creston road and Cripple Creek road as it becomes available to us.
