Two fires in the Salinas riverbed over the weekend.
The first was just after six Friday evening when fire trucks responded to a small fire near Navajo, just north of Albertson’s. They drenched the area of the fire and extinguished it in about 30 minutes.
Another fire reported on Saturday.
Friday’s fire appeared to be human caused. No word on Saturday’s.
