Today is the first day candidates for the Paso Robles school board may submit paperwork to run for Kenny Enny’s trustee position.
You may remember what progressives said about the retired marine corps officer, now cattle rancher, Kenny Enny. One woman said he would “bring hate to children.”
Kenny Enny was appointed by the school board to fill a vacant seat on the board. Then, a school district employee circulated a petition to gather signatures to revoke the appointment of Kenny Enny. That petition led to Enny’s removal. Instead, there will be an election in April. Among those submitting paperwork to run for that vacant seat including Kenny Enny himself.
Although Kenny Enny was removed by a petition circulated by some on the school district staff, he’s submitting papers today to run in an election on April 18th. Incidentally, that election mandated by county superintendent James Brescia will cost the school district about one half million dollars. The estimate right now is $493 thousand.
