A vegetation fire broke out around 3:30 pm on Friday afternoon in the 2600 block of Neal Spring road in Templeton.
Fire officials said the fire burned two acres, and was contained as of 5 pm.
Cal Fire determined the fire was caused by mechanical equipment use. Officials ask for people to use mechanical equipment in the morning before 10 am, never when it’s windy or dry, and to keep a water source nearby.
