Cal Fire released a statement on Friday afternoon, saying that the county fire department personnel from the Estero Bay Station in Cayucos will be conducting active shooter drills.
The first drill took place on Saturday, May 4th from 9 am until noon at Cayucos elementary school.
Two more trainings are scheduled for May 11th and the 12th at the same time and location.
Cal Fire says that the drills will train tactical EMS skills, and interagency training with law enforcement.
