Another fire in the Salinas riverbed Friday night in Paso Robles. The fire reported around ten Friday night behind Kohls.
The fire was burning in heavy vegetation between the main river channel and a recently grazed firebreak.
Firefighters were able to access the fire through the managed firebreak. Due to their quick response, they stopped the fire’s spread at one quarter of an acre.
Three fire engines and one battalion chief from Paso Robles responded. Investigators determined the fire to be human caused.
