Atascadero city council met last night at the historic rotunda.
Councilwoman Heather Newsom read a proclamation declaring July as Parks Make Life Better month. Julie Fanning of the California Park and Recreation Society spoke about the proclamation.
City manager, Rachelle Rickard, talked about a free event happening this afternoon at the sunken garden in Atascadero, this afternoon from 3-6. The Summer Sizzle, is a fascinating event coming this weekend, and they’ll be on hand at Farmer’s Market this afternoon to talk about it.
