The Atascadero city council’s next meeting is tonight at 6.
Only several consent calendar items are on the agenda, with no public hearings or management reports. Two of the consent items are the routine draft minutes and payroll for the city payroll.
One item is the authorization for use of digital signatures for electronic documents. The agenda says that the use of digital signatures in lieu of ink signatures has become increasingly mainstream in the public sector, and the city is also increasingly digitizing staff processes and workflows. Staff is recommending that the council adopt a draft resolution to formally authorize the use of digital signatures for electronic documents when deemed appropriate or beneficial by staff, and allowed by law.
You can attend tonight’s meeting in person, or listen right here on KPRL.
