A fight broke out in Atascadero, after two dogs fought in the riverbed. Two men, each walking their dogs off leash, encountered one another last Thursday in the riverbed. Highway one reopens to Big Sur. A rock and mud slide closed the way near Salmon Creek Wednesday morning. That’s north of Ragged Point, but south of Gorda. A rainstorm hit the area Sunday night and Monday. And there were a series of earthquakes Monday, as well, which may have contributed to the rock slide.
