The city of Paso Robles may buy the old boys school on Airport road. Mayor Steve Martin tells KPRL about efforts to buy the vacant old correctional facility which housed young criminals.
For the past two years, Paso Robles city manager Tom Frutchey has been meeting with state officials in Sacramento, to try to find a way for the city to buy the boys school from the state.
Hearings may manifest in the next couple months, if the state offers the 135 acres to the city. You may be hearing a lot more about the city of Paso Robles buying the boys school in the weeks ahead.
