San Luis Obispo police confiscate a skimmer device at a San Luis gas station.
A customer spotted the skimmer at the Shell gas station on Madonna road and alerted a gas station employee.
The skimmer reads credit cards and steals information. Employees removed the skimmer from the pump, but with no video available, they have no idea who placed it there.
The police say it’s unclear how many customers had their credit card information stolen.
They advise that you report suspicious activity at the gas pump.
