A dog rescued after falling off a cliff in Santa Barbara is now ready for adoption.
Lucas the dog barely survived the fall. He was discovered in the sand after lying motionless for six hours with two broken legs and hip damage. A city of Santa Barbara surveillance camera captured his fall near Thousand Steps on the Mesa.
Lucas wasn’t micro-chipped, but people raised money to pay for his veterinary bills. After several weeks of rehabilitation, Lucas is doing well, and is ready for a permanent home. To adopt Lucas, go to email@example.com. (Dog is spelled, DAWG)
