Paso Robles city council approved a resolution to apply for a grant to install 13 miles of fiber optics in the city.
Assistant city manager Sarah Johnson Rios says the city would get a good return on its investment leasing space on the fiber optic line to internet companies
The city council voted unanimously to approve the proposal.
So, the city will apply for the grant to put more fiber optics in Paso Robles.
