Two fires in Atascadero over the weekend.
Saturday morning, three people suffered minor burns when their RV caught fire on San Fernando road. Around 11:30 Saturday morning, fire fighters responded to a call and discovered a fully-engulfed fire of a 30-foot RV trailer. The fire spread to vegetation and burned about an acre. Three people suffered minor burn injuries. A dog was killed by the fire.
Around 4:30 on Friday afternoon, a two story single family residence caught fire at 9198 Las Lomas. That fire also spread to nearby vegetation. Fire crews brought that fire under control in 15 minutes. The fire caused about $20 thousand dollars damage. But they saved $900,000 in property value by extinguishing that fire on Friday afternoon.
