It appears Kenny Enney is the winner in the special election in the Paso Robles school district. He says that after the ballot counting Friday, county clerk recorder Elaina Cano congratulated Enney on his victory. She said the lead he had was insurmountable.
Kenny Enney says it’s been a strange turn of events. He applied to the school board for a vacant position late last year. He was selected from several candidates. Then, a school district employee under the guidance of county schools superintendent James Brescia circulated petitions to have him removed. That forced an election with Kenny Enney running against Angela Hollander, a teacher’s union candidate.
Now, it appears Kenny Enney wins the election. He says he’s grateful he could share valuable information about the district. Information like the tragic test results which the administration was not talking about. More than 70% of graduating seniors are not proficient in math. Only about half of them are proficient in english.
More from Kenny Enney tomorrow on his victory in the special election for a vacant position on the school board. The message it sends to the school district.
