Very early yesterday morning, a Minuteman III missile blasted off from Vandenberg Space Force base near Lompoc.
The missile launch occurred at 12:49 yesterday morning.
It was a test to verify the safety, security, effectiveness and readiness of the weapon system.
Colonel Bryan Titus is the Space Launch Delta 30 Vice Commander. He says, “Tonight’s success is due to the hard work and dedication of guardians and airmen from across team Vandenberg whose contributions are vital to our nations security.”
