Since 2012, deputies have responded to the home in the California Valley nine times. Four of the previous calls related to a person acting out because of mental illness. Recently, the home has been used to grow marijuana. They had about 500 plants, but that was scaled back after the decision to limit grow operations by the majority on the board.
A search of the property produced four handguns, two shotguns and body armor. One of the handguns was stolen from the San Bernardino area.
