On Friday afternoon, the county clerk recorder’s office released updated results for the March primary election.
In San Luis Obispo county, Heather Moreno has widened the gap for the district 5 supervisor race. Moreno now holds 7,249 votes to Susan Funk’s 5,982, a 1,267 vote gap.
For proposition 1, at the county level, “no” votes still lead with 52.20% to 47.80% “yes” votes. At the state level, “yes” votes lead with 50.1% to 49.9% saying “no.” Approximately 95.7% of votes in the state have been counted.
According to an unprocessed ballot report by the county clerk recorder’s office, the next expected results will be March 20th by 6 pm.
The clerk recorder’s office still has a little over 21 thousand unprocessed ballots to go through.
