A change in the weather today. Cooler in the north county with highs in the upper 60’s northeast winds 15-25 miles per hour gusting at times to over 40 miles per hour. It’s the beginning of a transition from unusually warm weather for January to rain late this week and early next week.
Because of the strong winds, some PG and E customers may get their power shut off. The public safety power shut-off this week become of strong winds today and tomorrow.
The power shut offs may begin from 8-10 this morning. The power is expected to be restored by eight tomorrow morning. PG and E expected the outage to affect 386 residents.
PG and E is setting up a community resource center for people who need somewhere to go during the shut-off.
