The Mineral fire on the west side of Fresno county, just west of Coalinga has burned 26 thousand acres. It is now 47% contained.
A fire burned three acres along highway 41 near Shandon yesterday. That fire was brought under control around 4:30 yesterday afternoon.
A woman in San Luis Obispo is accusing of shooting her husband to death Thursday night at their apartment in the 600 block of Chorro street. 23-year-old Skylar Marie Marshall is arrested on suspicion of murder. She’s charged with the death of her husband, 35-year-old Alexander Hagist of San Luis. She’s being held without bail in the county jail.
