A federal judge rules against a group of five property owners who sued the Cambria Community Services District over they’re inability to build homes on their property. The judge agrees with the CSD. No water, no development.
Meanwhile, the state legislature is supporting bills which would make it easier to build student housing at universities. The bills now await the signature of governor Gavin Newsom.
Four Cal Poly students lose their housing in a fire Tuesday night. The fire damaged a single-family home on Buchon street, near Johnson avenue. The fire department is investigating the cause.
Two earthquakes reported near Santa Rosa. 4.4 and 4.3 on the Richter scale. The first, Tuesday evening around 6:39. The epicenter about two miles north of Santa Rosa. The second, a minute later, was two and a half miles north of Santa Rosa. The tremors were felt as far away as Fresno. No damage or injures reported.
