The San Luis Obispo county grand jury out with a report on the mental health system in the county. It says there are some big short comings, particularly how people on psychiatric holds are treated. And mental health services available for youth. The grand jury report cites a workforce shortage that’s causing delays in treatment.
The black lives matter protest in San Luis Obispo two years ago is part of a new HBO Max documentary called, “Milestone Generations”. It explores the history of a black owned comic book company. DC Comics features superheroes who are black, Hispanic and LGBTQ people.
