The Paso Robles police department released a statement for a carjacking that took place in Paso Robles.
The department says that at around 10 pm on Saturday, five hispanic males wearing face masks exited a red sedan on the 3400 block of Oak street before confronting their victim.
Two suspects brandished black handguns, and another a knife. The victim says the suspects stole his vehicle by force and then fled the area. The vehicle was located almost two hours later by the Atascadero police department; officers surveilled the unoccupied car for about one hour and witnessed zero movement.
Paso Robles officers investigated the vehicle, but have yet to located any of the suspects. The investigation remains ongoing.
