The county public works department announced that a portion of the Bob Jones bike trail will be closed for one week.
The closure is for regular essential maintenance work on the trail, including restoring pathway shoulders, cleaning out accumulated sediment, and replacing a damaged drainage pipe.
The trail will close starting January 6th through Friday, January 10th, between Ontario road and Blue Heron drive in the Avila Beach area.
