It may not be a March miracle, but the north county is getting more rain in the next week.
Tomorrow almost an inch of rain is expected. Then another storm arrives Tuesday, and this is expected to drop almost an inch of rain over three days time. Rainfall totals remain about one quarter of the average for the season.
Last weekend the sierra snow pack gained 8 feet of snow. Another big increase expected over the next week, which will ultimately help people in the San Joaquin valley in the summer of 2018.
This weekend, daylight savings ends again. Remember, spring forward fall back. This is the weekend to turn your clock forward an hour. Most people turn their clock forward before they go to bed. Others turn their clocks forward Sunday morning. One individual in the north county sets his alarm for two am and he gets up and turns the clock forward at two am Sunday morning.
