Seven men arrested for a home invasion robbery in Atascadero, were sentenced yesterday in San Luis Obispo superior court.
One member of the group was also sentenced for a separate felony related to his alleged solicitation of a county jail inmate to murder the robbery victims and their San Luis Obispo attorney, Ilan Funke-Bilu. The men sentenced to five years in state prison. One man received nine years, because of his extensive criminal record.
Daniel Gonzalez of Antioch, who solicited an inmate to murder the victims and their attorney, will receive no additional sentencing. His five year sentence will run concurrently with the other felony conviction.
The home invasion occurred February 11th of last year at a house on San Gregorio road in Atascadero. No one was injured in the ill-conceived home invasion robbery.
