The San Luis Obispo county health department reports four people with covid died recently. That brings the total for the past two years to 402.
The most recent deaths range from people 65-85 and over 85. Dr. Penny Borenstein does not say how many in each group, but all four people were over 65 and some were over 85. The health department does not report what other health issues those people experienced.
The number of cases in the county has dropped dramatically. On Wednesday one week ago, over one thousand one hundred sixty cases were reported.
In the past four days about the same number were reported across those four days.
