At the county government center, they’re sorting ballots.
Not counting just yet, but they’re getting closer.
Initially, county clerk recorder asked Darcia Stebbins to give her a check for about $17,000.
Then another yesterday for about $4,000. That will continue daily, as those asking for the recount, pay for the process.
We know they found one ballot which was not opened. It has still not been opened, although we know it comes from a registered republican in the second district.
Six primary ballots also turned up. They were apparently sent out by someone during the general election. That’s a little baffling.
The recount process continues today at the elections office.
