About 200 business and government leaders convened at Springhill Mariott in Atascadero yesterday for discussion of the state of the north county economy.
Key note speaker Ken Hira said that brick and mortar retail is not dying, it’s just evolving. He said online sales are only 9% of the total. He also said millennials are driving the economy, but in the north county, baby boomers make up the largest percentage of the population.
