The top producing crop in San Luis Obispo county? Strawberries, not wine grapes.
Strawberries back on top for the first time in four years.
The county’s 2019 Department of Agriculture Report issued yesterday shows strawberries accounted for more than $271 million dollars. Wine grapes dropped to 254 million good for a close second.
