A vegetation fire broke out yesterday afternoon along Vineyard drive in Templeton.
The blaze erupted just before 1 pm, spreading south and towards homes.
Templeton Fire and Emergency Services quickly responded, extinguishing the blaze before it reached the houses.
Approximately 2.5 acres burned, and the cause is currently under investigation.
