The city of Atascadero hosted the 6th Annual Showdown Cornhole tournament at the sunken gardens. Mike Lopicolo of the Knights of Columbus coordinated the event. Lopicolo thanked deputy city manager Terri Banish for her help in putting together a great cornhole tournament in Atascadero.
The state of California is ending its mandatory covid-19 testing for most un-vaccinated state workers. State employees who are not vaccinated will no longer be required to take weekly covid tests. Those tests have been required for un-vaccinated workers since July of last year.
