PG&E customers experienced an outage on Saturday morning in north San Luis Obispo county. The outage occurred just before noon, affecting residents in Templeton west of the 101, stretching up north to the lake Nacimiento area. PG&E says about 1,466 customers were affected from the outage. Power was eventually restored later that afternoon.

Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services received a report of a barn fire on Saturday at approximately 4:55 pm. The fire was located at 8620 San Carlos, and had already extended to surrounding vegetation. Atascadero Fire says a coordinated response managed to stop the fire’s forward progress by 5:40 pm.
