Paso Robles city council meets this evening virtually. That means you can’t attend the meeting, but you can call in and participate.
Tonight, the city council will get an update on covid 19.
Mayor Steve Martin will make a proclamation for Juneteenth, which is historic for African-Americans. June 19th, 1865, President Lincoln’s emancipation proclamation was read in texas, outlawing slavery. It’s also called Emancipation Day. It’s now celebrated on June 19th each year.
The Paso Robles city council will also discuss the map and plans for the River Oaks II development. And Ditas Esperanza will give an update on public works projects.
That meeting gets underway at 6:30 this evening. You can hear it live here on KPRL.
No word yet when the Paso Robles city council will return to open meetings.
