Templeton Library conducted a Book Sale Saturday in the parking lot of the library. They put on sale hundreds of books which the library does not need because of duplication or space. Proceeds go to buying new books.
Melinda Reed of the Library says, “People want to read current fiction. We’re also getting a lot of demand for children’s books. The kids appreciate that we’ve got the books they want to read. We’re also buying more Spanish language books.”
The library is open five days per week. It’s open 10-5 Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday, it’s open 1-5 pm. And it’s open Saturdays 10-1.
Story time is 10 am on Tuesdays. Coffee time is 11 Tuesday morning.
The Library is conducting a Yard Sale on Saturday, April 22 in the library parking lot. They will be selling surplus furniture, décor, lamps, chairs, old books and collectibles.
