A 64-year-old Creston woman, Valerie White, was killed Sunday afternoon by her own vehicle, the California Highway Patrol says.
CHP says the woman was driving a 2001 dodge ram pickup truck, and exited the vehicle to access the keypad to a gate.
White had accidentally left the vehicle in neutral rather than setting the parking brake, causing the vehicle to roll backwards and run her over.
She was trapped beneath the vehicle, and received fatal injuries.
