The National Weather Service has forecast the atmospheric river storm currently impacting San Luis Obispo county may continue through Saturday.
Expect the storm to bring 3 to 5 inches of rain, winds of about 10 to 20 miles per hour, and gusts reaching 30 to 40 miles per hour. Paso Fire & Emergency Services is urging residents to remain alert, particularly if they are traveling for the holidays.
Storms increase the risk of road flooding and hazardous driving conditions. A flood watch has been issued for the entire county by the National Weather Service.
